Survivors Toolbox

Survivorship is the concept of nurturing a cancer patient toward life after cancer from the first day of treatment, with a focus on wellness. It is an emerging concept in oncology treatment and becoming a part of mandated treatment in some health settings.

OutLive is looking to build a package of programs and resources like the OutDoors Rx program and Survivors Challenge into a Cancer Survivors Toolbox, in the hopes that getting active outdoors and connected to others becomes a part of oncology providers' survivorship programs in Spokane and across the Inland Northwest.

To that end, we are looking to build partnerships with health providers, initially through our board member, Oncology Nursing manager Matt Ortiz.
